One of my friends mailed me these funny methods. I love to share you all these innovative methods. Hope you will enjoy reading these funny ideas.

Ø Newton's Method:
Let, the lion catch you.
For every action there is equal and opposite
reaction. Implies you caught lion.

Ø Einstein Method:
Run in the direction opposite to that of the lion.
Due to higher relative velocity, the lion will also
run faster and will get tired so; pruton. Now you can
trap it easily.

Ø Software Engineer Method:
Catch a cat and claim that your testing has proven
that it’s a Lion. If anyone comes back with issues
tell that you will upgrade it to Lion.

Ø Indian Police Method:
catch any animal and interrogate it & torture it to
accept that it’s a lion.

Ø Rajnikanth Method:
Keep warning the lion that u may come and attack
anytime. The lion will live in fear and die soon in
fear itself.

Ø Jayalalitha Method:
Send Police commissioner Muthukaruppan around 2AM
and
kill it, while it's sleeping!

Ø Manirathnam Method (director):
Make sure the lion does not get sun light and put
the
lion in a dark room with a single candle lighted.
Keep murmuring something in its ears. The
lion will be highly irritated and commit suicide.

Ø Karan Johar Method (director):
Send a lioness into the forest. Our lion and
lioness
fall in love with each other. Send another
lioness
in to the forest, followed by another lion.
First lion loves the first lioness and the second
lion loves the 2nd lioness.
But 2nd lioness loves both lions. Now send another
lioness (third) into the forest. You don't
understand
right... ok....read it after 15 yrs, then
also u wont!

Ø Yash Chopra method (director):
Take the lion to Australia or US... And kill it in
a
good scenic location.

Ø Govinda method:
Continuously dance before the lion for 5 or 6 days.

Ø Menaka Gandhi method:
save the lion from a danger and feed him with some
vegetables continuously.

Ø George bush method:
Link the lion with osama bin laden and shoot him!!!

Ø Ravi Shastri method:
Ask the lion to bowl at u. U bat for 200 balls
and
score 1 run

PLACEMENT OR MS : A CONTEMPORARY AMBIGUITY

Training and Placement department in SVNIT has already formed the placement committee with members from each department. But still the atmosphere seems to be in ambiguous condition and hard to appease the anxiety of students towards the possible halt of the zero phase placement because of the prevailing global recession and omnipresence of burgeoning layoffs. Dr. D.B. Naik, head of T & P department, has still vague reply about the query of such situation. Only Accenture,a multinational IT company, has given a positive response and the response of other companies are in pending state but Dr. Naik hasn’t left his zeal and with his full vigour, he is trying to maintain the previous record of exceeding 100% placement although that is unfeasible. Despite the anxiety towards the exacerbate situation of placement, students are preparing for placement stuffs with an emollient mood, full courage and optimism as greater competition is required now onwards to get the esteemed company of dream, thanks to IMS, FUTURISM and PT Education(placement, CAT , GRE tution center).

But I am not in mood towards doing any job and planning to go for MS in reputed college abroad. The impact of global recession on colleges like reduction in college funds and hike in college’s fees put me in ambivalence whether to go for MS or not. Sometimes I think of myself to go for job as I am having great possibility to get job of my choice due to my excellent grade point. Some experts say that the recession is the best time for study and somewhat I agree with this. And also job experience is must for those who want to do MBA but we cannot neglect the worthiness of job experience. Doing job can also help to accumulate some bucks for future study but the pace of study that I am maintaining may not be of same strength in future when I create some year gap in between and will very hard to maintain such vigour as presently I accumulate. This has create a lot of ambiguity not only to me but to many of my friends too. I got different opinions from different people, blah blah blah – it is worthless and has kept me in extreme dilemma and now I have decided to think myself and I am going to follow my own decision. But ?.

It take me little time and effort,
So asking god for his full support,

THE VISION OF NANOTECHNOLOGY

Presently I am having “Introduction to Nano Devices” as my 2nd elective in this 6th semester. Since one year back, I am having lots of inquisitiveness about this field and I have read out many articles and journals related to this field. I have found that we present generation young people are so lucky because we are in the extreme transitional phase towards the development of technology. May be up to 2020 we will be able to see almost a new overlap to the current technology. At that time the transistor size will reach the electron size (nano level), according to Moore’s law, bringing extreme compact, ultra high processing super computer. Wireless technology in communication field will reach superior level covering broad application. Different nano-sensors and nano robots will come into existence which will become part of our life. These are all vision of nanotechnology.

Nanotechnology literally means any technology performed on a nanoscale that has applications in the real world. Nanotechnology encompasses the production and application of physical, chemical, and biological systems at scales ranging from individual atoms or molecules to submicron dimensions, as well as the integration of the resulting nanostructures into larger systems. Science and technology research in nanotechnology promises breakthroughs in such areas as materials and manufacturing, nanoelectronics, medicine and healthcare, energy, biotechnology, information technology, and national security. It is widely felt that nanotechnology will be the next industrial revolution.

The visions which scientists are expecting to be in future are as follows:

Memory using many fine silicon probes with tips 1 nm diameter would be able to store 1 terabyte on a 1 square inch which is related to IBM’s Millipede project.
Making possible to put the power of all today’s present computers in the palm of your hand.
Making OLED display using nanowire as electrode that would enable flat panel displays to be flexible making it more thinner.Laptop computer display could be unroll like a portable movie screen or could be detach it from laptop.
Using nanosized magnetic rings to make Magnetoresistive Random Access memory (MRAM) that may allow memory density of 400 GB per square inch.
Developing molecular-sized transistors which may allow us to shrink the width of transistor gates to approximately one nm.
Roughly 90,000 km. long space elevator cable will probably made from carbon nanotubes between anchor station in the ocean and the asteroid in the orbit around the sun.
Battery small enough to be implanted in the eye and power artificial retina.
Light weight bullet-proof fabric could be made using carbon nanotube.
Spaceships using light weight solar sails that can be propelled by light from the sun.Making nanomedicine that will target disease only.

Global recession and its impact on the World's economy

A recent headline on the US-based newspapers was “598,000 jobs lost in January in US”. In US this was the biggest one-month plunge in jobs since 1974 bringing the unemployment rate to 7.6 percent. US, which is known for the world’s biggest economy, taking up 30 percent of global GDP, is now facing this burgeoning unemployment creating a severe economical crisis there. The recession in the US market has not only engulfed its own economy but also engulfed complete world economy with a oscillatory impact of recession. Companies are downsizing in their existing available staffs and cutting down their perks and salary.
To curb the present recession in the economy and counter act the prevailing situation, though US has taken bail out of $920 billion package, it seems likely that these burgeoning figure of layoffs could lead this recession towards worsen condition. In present situation down fall in one sector one day leads to a negative impact on the other sector thus ultimately everyone feel the impact of financial crisis with the slowly and gradually widening of current recession in US due to linked global world. Complete business and industry is in dolorous situation and if this impact of recession persists for longer duration then it will create the small vulnerable business to vanish as they have lower stability and to run smoothly they require continuous flow of liquidity which is derived from market.
The impact of global melt down termed as global recession is creating severe economy condition mainly to the developed country nose-diving their GDP growth towards negative percentage. In Europe the outlook is equally grim. The economies of the euro area, too, are struggling badly. GDP shrank in the currency zone’s three largest countries-Germany, France and Italy. Japan, too, is having its economy shrank due to fell in exports, investment slowed and high food prices dented consumer confidence. Though Japanese banks are less embroiled in the financial crisis than those in Europe and America, but with other economies falling into recession and the yen soaring, the prospects for Japan’s exports and economy are dark.
However, two big Asian countries India and China along with south Asian countries are having less impact of it. They are still having satisfactory positive growth as their economies are less dependent on such US markets which are vulnerable to this recession impact. China has shown remarkable resilience to the financial storm. These emerging economies have strong defenses against a rich-world downturn but they will not escape unscathed.
